Straand Heaven Scent Review - WILDCHILD SG

Straand Heaven Scent Earned a Spot Beside My Dior Hair Mist

Welcome to Beauty Logs, otherwise known as B-Logs, where we share real reviews—no holds barred—by and for those who are constantly on the lookout for the latest additions to their list of holy grail products.

I’ve always been a hair perfume girl. That’s because traditional perfumes tend to be too heavy or cloying for me, and I’ll end up with a headache before I even leave the house. On the other hand, hair perfumes are subtle and wearable. Best of all, they linger in the air every time you toss your hair. My long-time staples have been Dior J’adore Hair Mist and the Sachajuan Protective Hair Perfume. More recently, my newfound favorite—Straand Heaven Scent Hair Perfume + Gloss (S$36)—has taken its place right beside them.

You know that feeling when someone walks past you and goes, “Your hair smells amazing. What is that scent?” That’s the exact moment I chase. And I think I’ve found a way to recreate that with this bright orange and purple bottle. I’ll admit that I was skeptical at first. After all, dual-purpose products often sound better in theory than in practice. But this one? It has truly won me over.

Here’s how my hair looks after a day of not washing it. You can see that it’s a little frizzy and dull, all thanks to years of perming and coloring.

Right: After four spritzes of Straand Heaven Scent

Four spritzes of Heaven Scent, a quick comb-through… and my hair feels smoother, smells incredible, and catches just a touch more light than before. It’s not a dramatic transformation, but it’s enough to make it look a little fresher and feel a lot nicer. Heaven Scent has now become a staple in my haircare routine between washes, right alongside dry shampoo.

Next, let’s talk scent. I usually go for floral or woody notes, so Heaven Scent’s fruity fragrance isn’t really my thing. That said, it’s actually a pretty lovely scent—subtly sweet, bright without being overpowering, and just the right kind of uplifting.

Top Notes: Mandarin, Bergamot, Sweet Neroli

Heart Notes: Rose, Magnolia, Pink Pepper

Base Notes: Toffee, Orris, Patchouli

Even after four generous spritzes, it never feels like too much. Plus, the sillage is stronger than most hair mists; I get a good 4–5 hours of wear before I feel the need for a post-lunch refresh in the office.

Hair perfumes are having a moment, and Straand Heaven Scent deserves to be part of the conversation. It does what it promises: makes your hair smell divine, look polished, and feel like it’s been freshly styled—all without weighing it down or turning it greasy.

While Dior and Sachajuan’s products remain firm favorites in my rotation, Straand’s hair mist has carved out a spot of its own with its subtle glossiness and surprisingly long-lasting sillage. If you’re after a wallet-friendly hair mist that goes the extra mile, this one’s worth a try.
